ECO Notebooks
Until now, the only biodegradable notebooks available had either a Kraft board or cardboard cover which are not the most exciting materials and have a smooth finish. The most popular Notebook cover is made from PU (Polyurethane) which is not green friendly and will stay in the ground when buried for hundreds of years.
We are now launching the ECO BOOK which has a biodegradable, slightly textured cover made from tree bark fibres.
There are 2 versions - the Rigid cover has an elastic closure which of course isn’t biodegradable and a biodegradable ribbon made from Tencel. It also has 120 x 70gsm recycled white, lined pages, White 160g Fly page and a back cover envelope pocket.
The Flexible cover version doesn’t have the elastic closure but does have the biodegradable ribbon and 120 x 80gsm FSC approved white, lined acid free pages and black 160g fly pages.
The textured feel to the ECO book makes it tactile and easy to the touch
Once discarded and buried both will rot to almost nothing. Due to the worldwide popularity of notebooks this could remove one of Earths polluters which is a positive step although of course there are many others
We still manufacture a bespoke ECO notebook using one of the 16 cover colours and brand the inner pages with your company details and logo on the pages. We hold stock of Black, Grey, Red, Navy, & White rigid and flexible books in the UK where we can screen print, foil block or emboss your logo on the cover in a few days.
We also sell PU & Kraft Board notebooks as well as many other cover materials but will focus on selling more biodegradable cover notebooks in the future.
